Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake, baker’s man,
Bake me a cake as fast as you can.
Roll it, and prick it,
And mark it with a ” B ”
And put it in the oven
For Baby and me !

Pétris, pétris la pâte, boulanger
Cuis-moi un gâteau aussi vite que tu peux.
Roule-le, pique-le,
Et écris dessus un grand ” B ”
Et mets-le dans le four
Pour Bébé et moi !
